Nice day for a black wedding…

18 10 2010

When planning your wedding you don’t have to bow to tradition. If you are anything like me white is a no-no colour (I get grubby in seconds) and laundry is split into blacks and colours. So why not take the opportunity to dress up in black and throw a goth wedding?

24 05 2010

I finally got my horse tattoo’d the other day. In the meantime Django died so now it’s a memorial piece. It feels good to have him as a physical part of me, especially after 30 years together.

As you can see, it’s not quite healed yet but it’s almost there. I specifically chose a messy font with smudges and missing bits (they are intentional, not shoddy tattooing skills). Django was always a mess, usually rolling in some lovely cow pat right before his dressage event. Needless to say, the pony club girls didn’t like us much – especially when we would win anyway!
